Klinker at no.w.here
no.w.here project space, first floor, 316 - 318 Bethnal Green Road, London E2 0AG. Takes place on the 17th day of each month throughout 2017. Doors 7:30pm for an 8pm start, acts finish at 10:30pm. £5 full price, £3 concessions. Pay at the door. For up to date info on acts playing please see the Klinker website.
The Klinker has, in over 30 years, acquired a reputation as London's leading forum for free improvisation and marginal music and performance. The Klinker comes to no.w.here on the 17th of each month throughout 2017.

Tyburnia

Starting at the Old Church in Stoke Newington in London on 13th July, this short tour of James Holcombe's expanded 16mm film Tyburnia takes in 8 dates across the UK. Featuring a live soundtrack peformance by Dead Rat Orchestra with special guest Lisa Knapp.

Lords of Sounds and Lesser Things
Sunday 25th June 2017, The Castle Cinema, First Floor, 64 - 66 Brooksby's Walk, London E9 6DA. 6:16pm start. Tickets available from the East London Film Festival's website here.
Emerging artist filmmakers Juliet Jacques and Ker Wallwork present their film Approach/ Withdraw, which explores the intersection between queer love, sex and gender with biomedical science, alongside a selection of other works that were an influence on it, or form a dialogue with it. Inspired by no.w.here and the BFI's Queering Love, Queering Hormones project.

Coalition of Chaos
Thursday 8th June 2017, 9pm start for exit poll at 10pm. Free, just turn up! It ends when it ends..no.w.here, First Floor, 316 - 318 Bethnal Green Road, London E2 0AG. Bring: your own booze, YouTube clips, poetry, song, jokes, and snacks to sustain yourselves.
Join us at nowhere for an all night party! We will watch in hope as the British public chooses between socialism or barbarism, in yet another election that may still surprise our lizard overlords...

Filmmaker Larry Gottheim will unfold his 50 year practice over two nights at no.w.here, focussing on exploring the complex relationship of images to sound, time, editing, movement and becoming.

Taking it's name from Shinya Sugimoto & Jeremy Young's forthcoming LP featuring cellist Julia Kent, Total Fiction is live score performance to a 16mm film reel projection by Paul Clipson that will change night by night in reaction to the properties of each space.

Artist Filmmaker Paul Clipson will screen a programme of his films followed by a talk and discussion with the audience. This event takes place at no.w.here as a satellite event to Total Fiction , a screening with live music by Shinya Sugimoto & Jeremy Young on the 23rd March at the Old Church, Stoke Newington.
